The Confederation aims to signpost a range
of activities & provision. In many
cases the information is being provided
by the providers. The Confederation does not
take any responsibility
for the accuracy of information nor has it
undertaken any checks on providers.
It is important that parents / carers / guardians
do their own checks to ensure they are happy
with the activity, the provider and the situation
within which it is offered before allowing their
child/charge to engage in them.
The Woking Schools Confederation, formed in late 2006, is a confederation of 33 schools and PRU’s in the Borough of Woking. This includes 4 secondary schools, 2 pupil referral units and 3 schools for pupils with special educational needs.
We are all working together to raise standards of achievement and attainment across the 3 - 19 age ranges.
The vision for Woking Schools Confederation is:
Aim
1: To ensure all Woking pupils are provided with good intervention and therefore make outstanding progress. Aim
2: To facilitate the delivery of Extended Services to meet, in a coherent offer, the needs, aspirations and ambitions of local children, young people and families in a coordinated, inclusive way.
Aim
3: To enable Woking schools to achieve financial sustainability through sharing resources and best practice, facilitating shared procurement and providing cost-effective staff training to raise achievement and attainment.
Aim
4: To provide pupils of Woking with a voice so that they can influence how their needs and wants are met.
Aim
5: To support and develop school leadership to raise achievement and attainment.
